It worked for my P2647 code!

This switch helped get rid of the P2647 engine code for my VTEC Solenoid. Now I can start my 03 Element again with over 3000 rpm. Will give an additional update when the code comes back later. Be sure to replace the gasket and O-rings along with this switch.

Part works well so far

Had codes P2646/P2647 and Check Engine Light on. Honda Accord 4dr LX 2005 4 cylinder. The car has misfires and loss of power from 2500 rpm. Replaced the oil pressure sensor and after driving 20-40 miles the code went away and the check engine light went out. The car doesn't stop anymore. If you search on YouTube you can find the exact location of the part for most makes/models and replace it yourself. The exchange takes no more than 10 minutes. Don't forget to check the oil level afterwards…

Might be a good product but needs the entire assembly

For $23 you can purchase a VTEC Solenoid Valve Assembly with Oil Pressure Switch and Gasket. to make sure the problem is actually fixed. I bought it hoping that was it, but it didn't fix the problem. Something else in the solenoid block could also be causing the problem. I'm sure this product works great if that's the problem but like I said for a little more you can get it all and it's easier to separate it then take it off and replace and then go through the entire assembly three screws to…
