The part sent does not match the photo of the part shown. This part could be adjusted if I change the wiring harness. upset. I believe the photo of the part shown was correct but they sent something different. I am returning the part for a refund.

Ford Motors uses several versions of this solenoid and unless you first remove the Ford part and extract the number you have little chance of getting the correct replacement. I ended up buying the original Motorcraft solenoid valve locally and bought the one I got from Revain.

The starter relay was a quality unit, the only problem was that it didn't fit the 7.3 liter diesel as it has 4 bolt heads instead of 3. I would have to cut the wires to make it work. I gave this to a friend who has F-250 gas and ordered another from Ford. A little more expensive but fits perfectly without any modifications.

Had the same problem with the auto parts store here. Those relays are the wrong part. They have two disadvantages that prevent them from working "well enough". First, there is a tab that prevents the terminals from installing properly. Second, the polarity of the relay is reversed compared to the original relay.
