Doesn't run as smooth as original, freezes when ignition is switched on. In my opinion a cheap alternative to the original. It's easy to install.

Works but rough, starts spinning. Not as smooth as before. I will definitely buy another brand as I doubt it will change over time.

Does not fit my 06 Ram 2500 as advertised. We waited several days for his arrival and did not come. Went to local auto parts store and bought correct ignition switch, better quality and for less money.

This is the second switch replacement I've had to install. This brand has a MUCH smoother ride and works great. In fact, for the first time in my Ram truck, I can use the accessory switch adjustment. This also fixed a fan motor issue I was having (so I replaced it first).

Fits snugly on 2001 Dakota Quad Cab SLT 4.7L Automatic Transmission. Fixed the sporadic failure of the wipers and radio. When the key is turned the switch movement feels "jagged" in any position, time will tell if this is a problem or not (no problem yet). The box says 'Made in Taiwan' so unlike most aftermarket parts it's not made in China.

The seller's system said it was the same item. HAD NOT. Now I can't return it. I have a 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 Laramie Diesel. This part is NOT suitable. It has a MUCH larger harness connector than my car. Now that I wanted to install it and realized it's not the same, it's useless, and now it's been too long since I ordered it and I can't return it. Very disappointed.

The part fits and works, but after installation the key does not turn smoothly (like factory). Maybe it smoothes out some of the contact wear? Took the part back out - checked for smooth operation while removing every part along the way to make sure it wasn't and fix the problem. A straight #3 screwdriver showed exactly where the problem lies - in that switch. It's electric, so once you buy it, it's yours.
