If you are not in a lower hot state, the machine will.

Unless you're in a lower hot state the car doesn't need a 16lb pressurized system. This vacuum cap relieves your cooling system.

Arrived quickly, works great

I am using this on a Bowman PE180 marine heat exchanger (combined with overflow) on a Perkins 4108 - works well so far (my previous radiator cap has been shown to tolerate excessive coolant loss at cruising speed).
