Stant 10825 Fuel Cap Review

Used on a '98 Lexus ES300 that had a vaping code. I looked at my old cap and noticed where the fuel vapors were coming from. He immediately sealed this Stant gas cap and after almost 2 weeks there was no code left.

Hey I just bought this gas cap to deal with the evaporator check engine code. I put the cap on and rode over 100 miles (I had to anyway). I saved the hat for the morning when I went on a trip and after a few hours the CEL went out. Good coverage. Did the job for my 1998 Toyota Camry V6.

I lost my gas cap so got this as a replacement. It fits my 1998 Camry perfectly. I'm only giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because it rolls up so tight that it's very, very difficult to take it off when I need to fill up. To deal with that, I don't screw it all the way in until it clicks, but just tight enough to seal it.

Fits my 1995 Toyota Mini pickup exactly and looks almost identical to the original part. It's tight, seals well (no outgassing) and if you want to attach a cable to yours you can do so by screwing the screws into the top of the grip. The thread is sealed elsewhere so there is no air passage to the plug.

My old gas cap is worn out. Almost ruined my smog inspection because of it. Since the only problem found during the inspection was the gas cap, the inspector let me through on the condition that I get a new gas cap. I was amazed at how little it costs to buy a new gas cap that fits as well as this one. I am very happy.

There are not many good or bad reviews about the gas cap which is why it gets 5 stars. This is the cap that fits on my gas tank. Mine was for a '93 Saab 900 and it fit great. Got it because my emissions failed and they said I needed a new one. But when I returned it a month later, the car was too old to test. (I knew he was turning 25 and didn't need a test, but I brought him anyway).

I have an old Toyota that I drive temporarily. He needed a gas cap and I couldn't believe how much an auto parts store wanted for such a simple part. Of course I want to invest as little money as possible in maintaining this car, so I go to Revain. This gas cap stopped the loss of pressure, I was told the engine had stalled, the car passed the smog test, all for a great price and fast delivery. I'm a happy hiker or driver, whichever you choose.
