Precision rule with inch and millimeter graduations for measuring in woodworking, carpentry, and machining applications. Graduations in 32nds of an inch and half millimeters on one side and 64ths of an inch and millimeters on the opposite side are photo engraved for accuracy and staggered in a height pattern for readability. Spring-tempered stainless steel body construction is fully flexible for durability and flexibility. Satin chrome finish for readability and rust resistance.

Unreliable Thickness Gauge

As a result of my tests, I determined that this gauge is highly inconsistent in its measurements, making it difficult to trust. The size also makes it difficult to use on smaller objects.

Craftsman Ruler

This 6" metric ruler is ideal for craft planning work on wood or steel. Tempered steel is perfection. The markings are very good legible and accurate It is the best of its kind I have ever seen.

Very beautiful, durable, easy to read

This is a Starrett product so it makes sense that this is a very good rule of thumb. Metric and standard sizes on each side make it very useful and easy to use. Very smooth and clean edges. Numbers and lines are clean and easy to read. So far it makes a solid impression. Note: This isn't a flexible rule type, in case that's what you're looking for.
