Stainless Square - A Cut Above the Rest!

This square is a dream come true for any carpenter! It's durable, sleek, and accurate - everything you want in a measuring tool. Thanks to my knowledge gained in practice, I can say that this square truly excels where others fall short. The stainless steel material was a nice touch, as it has prevented any rusting or wear and tear. My one complaint would be that it's a bit pricy, but you definitely get what you pay for with this product. Overall, I'm satisfied with it and would recommend it to…

Pros
  • Precise measurements with high accuracy
Cons
  • Expensive compared to other square tools

it is much better than Incra 0

This is not a product review, it is a review of previous product comments. If that set of squares is actually accurate to within 0.0002 inches every six inches, that's a lot better than Incra's 0.001 inch guarantee. If I work precisely, the country of origin doesn't matter. Top quality requires the best tools available, no matter where they are made. It is my patriotic duty to be as accurate as possible in my work, by whatever means. The quality of my work makes my country strong.

Pros
  • Package Weight: 4.8 lbs
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than others

Unfortunately, Starrett does not list the country of origin of their instruments on their website. To test this tool I went to [.] and additionally downloaded their newsletter on these squares [.] (also linked to the first link…
