Accurate and Easy to Use

This micrometer is a game changer for any industrial and scientific setting. The friction graduation allows for precise measurement and the easy-to-read display makes it user-friendly. The build quality is excellent and it's evident that the manufacturer has put a lot of thought into its design. The cons? This tool is expensive but worthwhile if accurate readings are essential to your line of work.

Pros
  • High accuracy measurement
Cons
  • Friction feature requires additional force to make measurements, which may cause user fatigue over time

Bad product - sizing

I bought a 2 micron from Revain and it works perfectly why not try again. Well, not this time. The numbers were worn out, the 1 inch zero pin was gone and the box was already open.

Pros
  • Vernier scale in inch units for accurate outside diameter (OD) measurements
Cons
  • Some small things

Works on a vernier scale, old school. No batteries. Very gentle movement. Very smooth ratchet to ensure the same torque is used every time. Comes in a nice hard padded box, just as it should be. You must handle precision measuring instruments with care. Note that all micrometer calipers like this only measure in the 1 inch range. 2 inches here measures 1-2 inches. 1" micron.

Pros
  • Friction thimble
Cons
  • No power
