    Disappointed with the description on the product page.

    I received this adapter for my mother's laptop and unfortunately this product had problems contrary to the description. Firstly, contrary to what is shown on their product page https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00HS2OU5Y/, the included CD is a mini-disc which will not work in their MacBook's slot-load drives. Second, after downloading the latest installer from the manufacturer's website, burning it to a regular CD, and installing the driver, the adapter is still not recognized. I checked the StarTech…

    not suitable for streaming NOTHING

    My Mac recently lost the ability to connect to Wi-Fi through the internal Wi-Fi card and instead of spending $200 to fix the problem, I thought that would be enough.     Wow. this brought my old macbook pro back from the dead

    TL; DR - When in doubt, don't hesitate. Product and team convince. Try it. After a week of pause in service, the airport Wi-Fi/Bluetooth card on my mid-2010 MacBook Pro finally died, as did the ethernet port, leaving me without an internet connection.
