Bought for my 2005 Chevy Malibu it is perfect and works perfectly.

Item received and perfectly matched to my 2005 Chevrolet Malibu. Looks the same as OEM. The original cranks didn't work, but after a few minutes of trying, she flipped. It's been 2 weeks now and no problems. So far, so good. Good price. Continued after 6 months.

The car is back on the road.

Replaced the old starter with this and sold the car. The old starter would not start the car and the solenoid was draining the battery. I have installed a starter for the last ten years. There is no ability to know longevity, but I see no reason why it shouldn't last ten years or more. Would I buy again if I needed a 3.1 starter again. Installed in a 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix.

Perfect fit for my 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix - Warranty Pending

Good quality product for the price. Exactly as described. Update: This product was installed at the end of December 2016. Waiting to give it a review. The car started fine when I wrote the review. Less than a month later the starter died today leaving me stranded. I contacted the seller because the Revain ECCPP product page lists a one year manufacturer's warranty. I will update my comments as the warranty process progresses.

Not suitable for 4 cyl. Don't trust the exact replacement why 1 star. Not because the product was faulty

Although said to be an exact replacement for the old 2004 4 cylinder Alero, it only fits 6 cylinders. There were things he definitely said didn't add up. I've bought other parts that said they didn't fit the description but the exact fit said they did and they fit without any issues. Not in this case. I had to go to a car dealership and pay three times more because the mechanic had already disassembled the car.

Broke in less than a year

I bought this starter in January 2018, it broke down in less than 8 months. Contacted seller, apparently the one year warranty they state on their product listing is only valid for 3 months. Then they calculate the cost of a fresh start. So if I wanted to buy their junk again, it would be 20% off the original price. I took a chance with this company because the starter was so cheap it was a mistake. Go out and buy a reliable starter, not worth going home or having someone turn the key while you
