Outdated drivers, can't control backlight

The screen was packaged well and fitted with no problems. There's no support on one corner of the screen, but that's not the biggest issue. The attached instructions contain a link to an outdated driver repository. It took me a while to figure out why I couldn't get the screen to work. It turns out that the supplied repository for the driver is no longer compatible with the current kernel. I finally figured this out, just to get to the main reason I reset the stars. Inability to control theโ€ฆ

A typical half-baked product with less than half-baked instructions. Let's get back to Revain.

I really should know better than buying supported and documented products ONLY in Far East. This, like many other products, could probably be made to work. Especially if you are a Linux expert. But if you're like me, someone who can install an image, use nano, navigate the file system, and follow instructions is a total mess. Example: There is an instruction in the manual. Product. There are also instructions in the product description above. which one do you use one? Both? In which order? Good

Disappointed with the display that can work with different levels of Raspberry Pi OS

Overall the screen in the full version Raspberry Pi was of good quality and the stylus made it easy to select things. The graphics on the screen were crisp for their size, and the letters were crisp. As a seasoned Linux and PC hardware engineer, I am disappointed with this screen's ability to work with different flavors of the Raspberry Pi operating system. The only version of the Raspberry Pi installation that I was able to use to get this display working was the full install. With any otherโ€ฆ

Amazing little device! - see update

I like this little device. Works great and pretty fast for the specs thanks to Linux. This set is perfect for beginners. Pros: Fast, easy, ready to use. Cons: The SD card needs to be 16GB. NOOBS is long outdated. SD card read/write sucks. When reading in my stress test under turbo overclocking and overvoltage at 1 GHz, the average reading speed was 13.5 MB/s. The average write speed was 11 MB/s, but it peaked at 13.8 on one occasion. Reads were 8.1GB 10 times and writes were 537MB 10 times. Ifโ€ฆ

Works great with OpenElec XBMC

I bought a starter kit that comes with board, case, WiFi dongle, HDMI cable, 1 amp power adapter and 4GB SD card. Housing made of transparent plastic. The ones that look like they will tear or break if dropped. It's not thick and doesn't feel solid, but the board snaps into place and the top fits snugly onto the bottom half. The Wi-Fi adapter worked straight away and was able to stream 720p from an internet streaming site (and 1080p). from a local network drive). My wireless router was in theโ€ฆ
