This is a great product to start a new freshwater aquarium, helps keep circulation going and troubleshoots turbidity problems. These are live bacteria and they also have an expiration date. It works wonders for all 9 of my tanks.

After following the guide, the aquarium should keep circulating. It says that the tank will not work for more than 72 hours, but this is complete nonsense.
