Works best in tool kits

I have used these on a lock ring recently and was able to remove the lock ring with no problem. They seem well put together.

Seems like a good set of your clamp is smaller

Didn't stretch out far enough to work with the AC clamp. Seems like a good kit of your clip would be smaller. Find larger ones elsewhere.

These are really thin. The ring fell 10 times

They are really thin. The ring was dropped about 10 times before I could get a firm grip and remove the locking ring. Circlips are usually found in tight spots and the thickness of the pliers was what caused the problem in my case.

Great for a $4 dollar price.

Great for $4 but.1). It doesn't open wide enough for large 3/4" to 1" rings. I cut 1/8" off the inside handle and fixed the problem quickly. 2) You should always remove the retainer that holds the bits. This prevents you from closing the box completely. The clip was made too long and there is none Possibility to fix it If you do not disassemble it for storage every time, you will get a good tool.

great value choice for hobbyists

These pliers are an economical way to get a set of universal circlip pliers that take up little space. This is a great kit for someone who is interested in mechanics or who needs to install a snap ring occasionally and wants to have everything on hand to get the job done. Although these pliers are lightweight, they are durable and well made. The hard plastic case they come in is not meant for permanent storage - their purpose is of course a tool box.
