Solid choice for my opinion

When I first saw this light a few years ago, I thought it was on the expensive side but it looked solid so I took a chance and picked one up. So glad I did, too. Prior to picking one of these up I had been using an Energizer light which while cheaper proved to be not so good and broke within a couple of months.Lightweight, rechargeable, versatile (can be worn on almost anything) built-in clips, durable. Holds a charge which is great if you stuff the headlamp into a work bag and forget about it…

Pros
  • Headlamps
Cons
  • May cause irritation on the forehead

Nice and bright for my opinion

Got this light because a co worker had one did not relize it was battery pack till i got it but that is ok i have rechargeable batteries my rechargeable battery dont fit in the battery pack so could not use them i found out the rechargeable battery are too big i measured them and the Duracell batteries that came with the light I like the light for close up work but not for seeing away from you good light for camp site stuff but not for hiking or working at table stuff

Pros
  • Rechargeable battery eliminates the need for expensive replacement batteries
Cons
  • Not suitable for children

Fantastic. for my opinion

Awesome. Incredibly bright with wide angle. The motion sensor is a super handy feature. LED color is fantastic - pure white (not too blue). The strap is well balanced and comfortable. The battery charges quickly and lasts as long as stated, depending on brightness setting.Again, the motion sensor is awesome. Being able to turn the light on and off with your hands occupied/dirty is brilliant.I also have the STEELMAN PRO 78606 slim-lite. That's an awesome product too. As far as work lights go…

Pros
  • PIVOTING HEAD - Lamp head can pivot to direct the light right where you need it
Cons
  • More suitable for indoor use

Excellent performance

This light was well balanced and easily worn for working in low light conditions. The charge life is reasonably long and the quality of light shows every flaw even for challenging work like auto paint detailing.

Pros
  • ADJUSTABLE STRAPS - Fully adjustable woven polyester and elastic straps for the perfect fit
Cons
  • Not waterproof

The on/off switch goes bad

It a good product - haven't had it long enough to really test it - but it works well - I like it - see what the future is like with it - the bulbs are recessed so they don't get in the way of work - that's the main thing - battery pack on the back for good balance

Pros
  • Gear strap allows for easy attachment to backpacks or helmets
Cons
  • May not work well in dusty environments

Good but be very gentle.

Awesome light but don’t tilt to often or it will short out. Sometimes just quits working and starts working. I think wiring is to fragile. I’ve bought like 7 and had problems with 3-4

Pros
  • It has been a great tool asset for the jobs i need to work on.
Cons
  • The charging port may easily get damaged

Great headlamp.: my feedback

For the price this is by far the best head lamp out there. It is perfect for working on cars. The motion sensor is nice when your hands are super dirty.

Pros
  • WATER-RESISTANT ABS CASING - Water-resistant ABS plastic casing on both the light and battery pack is IP65 rated against dust and moisture
Cons
  • Tends to get dirty quickly and is difficult to clean

Pretty damn good for my opinion

Fits over my hard hat just fine, but needs to be secured on with Velcro or zip ties or something. Battery life is good. Hard to give an accurate measurement of how long it lasts since it’s constantly being turned on and off in my line of work, but did last an entire work week on one charge. Not heavy, doesn’t weigh down on the hard hat enough to really notice it.

Pros
  • Hands-free design allows for easy maneuverability while working
Cons
  • May take up too much storage space

Badass lamp for badass tradesmen!

This headlamp is bad ass! I'm an #sparky (electrician) and I'm always working in or needing extra light in panels or poorly lit areas and it does the job. 3 levels of light, I always use the lowest level mainly to save battery but also because it's bright enough. I've used the motion sensor but honestly just to show off 😋 the toggle switch is my preference. The hard hat clips don't work too great but a 1/4-20 nut and bolt throughout the lamp backing into my hat holds this thing firm…

Pros
  • TWO ILLUMINATION MODES - Two modes allow for use as a longer ranged spotlight or a close in area light
Cons
  • Causes headaches if worn for too long

Great rechargable headlight

Been a great product. Got a used one as a gift and 3 years later ran it over. Got the new one and it's the same great product. I like that the light goes dim instead of just turning off. But it does not fit too well on just your head. My hat size is 6 7/8 and all the way tight it's loose. Fits over a Bernie well thought. Never put it on a hard hat. Good flood pattern.

Pros
  • Long-lasting battery ensures uninterrupted use for extended periods of time
Cons
  • Prone to scratches or dents with regular use

Very reliable light, and easy to manage.

Very handy light for hard hat. Lightweight, and the clips are very essential. Replacing the batteries is easy, and all lights work as intended. The light is very bright, thus will drain your battery if left on all day, but that is a given. The on/off button is larger as advertised and does make it simpler to find even with heavy duty gloves on. Motion sensor also still works.

Pros
  • Lightweight design minimizes neck and shoulder strain
Cons
  • May give off an unpleasant odor

Works Great on my review.

Its very bright and its been holding its charge just fine. I always use it on high and its gone 2 to 3 hours before starting to get dim. The motion sensor is also very handy though I sometimes switch if off accidentally by getting my head too close to something while working.

Pros
  • Great headlamp for the money
Cons
  • Bulky design

Gonna save up and buy the rechargeable version next. Just wish it had a low mode but is meant to be more of a work light so just 3 levels of pretty damn bright. Very even flood which makes it a good work light to do tasks or walk with. Bring a small back up light so you can replace batteries when low as the somewhat short run time is the only downside for me personally. Other than that absolutely great headlamp for most tasks just not low light camping.

Pros
  • High-performance ensures maximum brightness even in low light conditions
Cons
  • Tends to be too bright for close-range work

Lights up my life on my review.

They provide superb light for working up close, moving snow, or walking around the barn and grainery in the dark. The red light allows me to see without blinding the animals (while reminding me of night ops in the military). My rating on the battery life may be harsh as I use these often, therefore change batteries often. They fit well on a bare head or over a variety of winter hats. Easy to turn on and off with gloved hands. They provide plenty of light to hook up farm implements, or to find…

Pros
  • TRIPLE STAGE LIGHT - 3 light stages for 200, 100 or 20 lumens of illumination
Cons
  • May produce too much heat on the forehead

Customer for sure in my review

It had been just a couple days or so past the one year mark for warranty. My light had quit holding a charge. Steelman went right through and is sending me a new one to replace that other without asking for the other back. They just won a customer for sure.

Pros
  • Dual-mode LED allows for customization according to your needs
Cons
  • May not be able to illuminate objects from a distance

Awesome light, small battery.

Pros:Excellent wide flood right in front of you.Perfect for working on cars, electrical panels, etc. This is NOT a far-beam light.SLIM, lightweight.Cons:It has a single 1500mAh battery. If this had a set of 18650 rechargeable batteries (3000mAh+ each), it would be the perfect headlamp!

Pros
  • Awesome 👌
Cons
  • Not suitable for use in extreme temperatures

I'd recommend. for my opinion

Detective out of the box. Charged to full battery twice. Light will not turn on.Update:Returned the defective light for a new one. Took another two weeks to get the replacement. After using it for a few weeks now, it is phenomenal. I don't need to adjust the angle, it just floods the area properly. I've sold a couple of people on it, Steelman Pro, you're welcome.

Pros
  • It is great lasts a long time on 1 charge and is very bright.
Cons
  • Limited battery life

Better than I expected!

Was looking for a low profile head light because I require a face shield on my hard hat. Looked long and hard with no budget in mind and kept coming back to this one because the slim design. I was ready to be disappointed because the low price but I am glad I gave it a chance. 3 months of use and works as good as the day I bought it.Pros,Price.Bright Light(wide angle)Frame of face mask passes over it.Weather proof(used in heavy rain with no problems)Motion on/off functions very well(often have…

Pros
  • Ergonomic design allows for easy maneuverability in tight spaces
Cons
  • May attract insects due to its brightness

Super bright light.

This is one bright light. When you turn it on its like turning on daylight. If you want to see at night this is the light for you. Would highly recommend.

Pros
  • Easy-to-use push button power switch
Cons
  • The button may stop working after a few uses

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great for confined spaces, decent quality for the price.

Great for eliminating some of the shadows cast by single bulb headlamps when working in confined spaces, like the crawlspace or attic. Not as focused a beam, so works best for short to moderate range uses, even on highest brightness setting. Battery lasts from my experience so far, easy enough to recharge. Comfortable straps and padding, with only minor issues with slippage when working at odd angles.

Pros
  • Waterproof construction allows for use in all weather conditions
Cons
  • The battery may deteriorate quickly over time
