I love these! They work well, are well made and much better than a regular filter. I love that they don't take up much cupboard space and can be used with almost any pot I have.

Easy to use and clean. Takes up less shelf space than a colander. Haven't tried it with anything other than pasta, but hope it works for sifting fat for burgers. It would be a lot easier than spooning it out.

I bought this mainly to drain the fat when cooking ground beef. I've always tried keeping the lid closed and draining the fat into the jar, but sometimes the lid slipped off and I've made a mess before. It worked great and I just tossed it in the dishwasher!

To be honest, not the best purchase I've ever made. I was debating whether to give it 2 or 3 stars. I chose 3 stars only because of the convenience. I thought it would be bigger. I can barely knock over the pots to keep the noodles from falling. In my opinion this is made for small pots with small pieces of pasta/food.

I really like it. Came with 2 but only needed 1. Make sure the valve is up (see pic) for best results - I lost a few pastes on the first try for not raising it. I use this for almost anything I can drain now, pasta, veggies, boiled eggs, etc. for any pot size (big or small). I put it in the dishwasher to clean it, but you can also hand wash it. It is small and easy to store, such as drawers. I highly recommend.

Whoever has ever made this has done a great job. This strainer is perfect for any size pan and stays in place. You don't have to worry about putting the lid on the pot to prevent it from slipping off or spilling the contents. It is very durable and easy to clean. A tip: Before straining, make sure that the center of the strainer is at the top after attaching it to the pot. the filter does not hold. Still works great

I bought these "Pot Strainers" because I was tired of burning my hands with steam. I used to have to use a lid or colander to strain, but not anymore! Not only did these clip-on filters save my burned hands, they solved the problem perfectly! I have used them on a number of different sized pans and saucepans with one or two handles and they have worked.
