Great for small clamps

Love these clamps - the other one I have is 12-14 inches and too big for many uses. This only fits the clamp up to 5.5" and has a deeper neck than most C clamps.

Pros
  • Hand tool
Cons
  • Socket required

Very well suited for tight spaces. Ease of use

I really needed a set of clamps that could be placed in a tight space. I believe these are the only clamps that fit the bill. Not very expensive either. Please remember that I am not putting them under much stress so I don't know how they will handle that.

Pros
  • Power & Hand Tools
Cons
  • Not bad

Good value for money: Power tools and hand tools

The best thing for me is the threaded hole in the bracket. Chapter. Then onto the nut on either side of the foot. This gives me a 3/4 inch offset so my clamp sits squarely on the table without interference. Light but very comfortable. Take two and buy more

Pros
  • Clamps
Cons
  • Some little things

Good value - power and hand tools

Best thing for me is the threaded hole in the bracket To compensate for the flange slots in my welding table I use a grade screw 8 with a washer welded to the head. Then a nut on either side of the leg. This gives me a 3/4" offset so my clamp sits squarely on the table without getting in the way. Lightweight but very comfortable. Get two and buy more

Pros
  • Throat depth: 3-1/4 in.
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Great clamp with easy to use features

These are great clamps, they slide together quickly to tighten an object. I've used other brands but these are faster and easier. I've bought several 6" and 8" clamps but I can see the neck opening is the same. For maximum versatility you can buy an 8" and use it under a 4" yoke. The threaded hole is not only a great feature for accessories that you can buy ready-made, but you can create your own special design.

Pros
  • Capacity: 6-1/2"

That WAS the real deal, NOW it's not.

As a toolmaker I use dozens of custom clamps and this one has proven to be very versatile. I was even happier when I got it. It was quick to set up and made of good steel. The welds looked great and the resilience was amazing. Giving his new collar, I decided to buy a dozen. I was shocked to see that the price had increased by over 20 percent in ten days. Is it just me or do the manufacturers make more of it? It annoys me how often prices skyrocket after the first purchase. At $15.00 they just…

Pros
  • Threaded hole: 5/16-18
Cons
  • Not sure
