Get what you pay for.

They are amazing and great value. They are also too short to support the weight of a granite counter. They are about 13 inches long and my granite bar is 13 inches. We'll see if they make it, but I think the manufacturer should have a 17-19 inch version of this product for a few bucks more. Others I looked at were $42 each, so this (@$8 each) was a great value. I only wish the company had offered a longer option.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Incredible price

Worked great!

I took the risk and ordered it, although there were few reviews. I almost bought another more expensive brand but I'm glad I chose them. They are very strong and strong. I accidentally went too far on the first one because I used a chisel and hammer. I bought a router for the last three. That worked much better. I was able to fit a spacer in the first one, but if you're careful and err on the shallow water side until you figure out the ideal depth, you'll be fine.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

The W shape makes this brace strong

It was easy to install, I made a template and used my router with template guide bushing and 1/2" straight bit It's important that the template stays flush with the top of the cabinet as the 2 x 4's used for the pony wall aren't entirely flat and level at the top, so I screwed the template to the top of the cabinet and wedged used to line it up top of the 2 x 4 wall. I then used my plunge router to cut out the indentation. I had a 12" batten on 3 sides of my island, I used 10 of these staples…

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other alternatives
