This post is on the shorter side, but as-is it works great for our 6-month old kitten. We were able to train him on the post with treats, and it's light enough to carry around to different spots easily. I would especially recommend this as a backup / second option - like to keep in your closet upstairs with another post downstairs.Neither of our cats has fully caught onto the grooming tool yet (it's been about three weeks), but we'll keep working on it!

This scratching post for my kittens was easy to build and they love it. It seems like a quality item that is durable as long as it isn't rebuilt at all. Definitely a once a build per item lifetime. Grooming bristles are firm, but forgiving. Highly recommend. For kittens only.

I really like this cat scratching post, I have a 2 month old kitten who started scratching the edge of our bed and this scratching post is keeping him busy. It nicely came with instructions and everything needed to assemble the scratching post. I put the entire post together in just a matter of minutes.it was very exciting and I'm pretty sure my kitten Luca thinks so as well.

This post somehow broke from the bottom pole despite screwed in appropriately. It was looking good for a few weeks but how do 3 month old kittens get the pole apart from the rest. They love to scratch it and want to play but I don't know how to get this set up again.
