are a bit bulky and the temp sensor is pretty much useless if you wear it on your arm because it measures your body temperature and not the ambient temperature.

The band is good, but buddy and thermometer are "useful". Compass: works well, I compared it to my good compass and it shows magnetic north and south, albeit a bit slow, just check if your watch is interfering with it. I wore my Hamilton H3 GI watch with it, it had some issues. Thermometer: Ideal for measuring body temperature, nothing more. It works great when you tie it to your backpack. Overall not a bad thing, but ultimately a novelty.

Overall a good product, I find the plastic housing of the compass and thermometer a little flimsy but I can't say for sure yet. The accuracy of the compass is still being tested. That seems pretty accurate from what I've seen so far. The thermometer is damn accurate. For this money the value is excellent. I would give this review 3.5 stars but I can't. It is a liquid-filled push-button compass, typical of all push-button compasses, and tends to stick if used at anything other than the flattest angle.
