I like to distract children with my stethoscope during heart and lung auscultation in the maternity hospital! I'm a pediatrician and kids love light and noise and this has helped me get great medical exams for noise and pneumonia! It's also durable - it's been doused in alcohol and caviwipes and is in excellent condition.

It's so much fun. When the handle is pulled out, it lights up. We use it to read books before bed. Super cute and super funny. We turn a sheet into a tent and then read with a flashlight or headlamp. It has become a big part of our nightly routine. My grandson is 4 years old. He manages that with no problem. We bought several of these as gifts. This is a fun gift idea for a preschooler's birthday!

I am a medical student and I put this on my stethoscope for my pediatric rotation and oh my god it was a hit. Works wonders to distract and soothe children while you listen to them. Because of this, I also like that it doesn't make any noise when you open your mouth, so you can actually hear when you need to. In addition, the material can be disinfected very easily with a quick wipe. Highly recommended to all beginners and active paediatricians.

Many patients in my pediatric clinic have a variant of this flashlight that they carry with their stethoscope to examine the pupils, throat, etc. when an otoscope or ophthalmoscope is not available. This little one is perfect for work and the kids love him! My only complaint is that the carabiner is too tight, but with a little effort you can easily slip it over the triangular part of the stethoscope under the binaural spring.

Love this little guy. I bought this to replace one I bought from a sporting goods store years ago and used until it finally broke after dropping it too many times. (I was able to glue the two pieces together but now there is a small gap.) What can I say? It's really cute, durable, feels good in the hand, holds the keys well and has a fun glow in its mouth.
