Nearly perfect bedding

The duvet is soft, light and comfortable. The heat control works well and the preheat feature is nice. I bought a king size. The only thing that bothers me is that the cable connecting the two controllers is not long enough for the individual controllers to sit comfortably on the tables on each side of the bed. They can lie on the sides of the bed but are not comfortable. Had the manufacturer added an additional 12 inches of wire my review would have said the product is perfect. Basically, my…

Thinner than expected

Although the blanket is plush, it is thinner than I expected. It doesn't get hot around the edges, and while the photo shows two full-size controls, it only comes with one controller. This was one of the reasons I ordered this particular duvet as it was for my elderly parents bed and they are different temperatures. However, it heats up sufficiently and parents have to cut back on the temperature. It's a nice looking blanket but it's more of a blanket for watching tv than a blanket for your…

Works very well and is very soft

This heating blanket works very well. You probably won't need higher settings unless you live in a very cold climate or it gets very cold. I usually use a higher setting to warm up the bed. I then reduce it to the minimum or turn it off afterwards. The material is very cuddly and soft. Yes, you can feel the wires if they're right up against you, but I hold the sheet between me and the blanket so I don't even notice the wires. The controls are excellent. There are no dials, just buttons. You can

The electric blanket keeps me warm!

I bought this duvet about a year ago and am very happy with it. It was a lot cheaper online than in stores. It keeps me very warm even when it's off! I find the fabric very soft and cozy and really keeps you warm even when not on. Some things that could be better are the heat distribution. The heat comes from the wires inside, so places without wires are cooler. But this is not a big problem, all you have to do is move the ceiling. It would also be nice to have an automatic switch off after a…

Purchased in 2011 and benefited from the Sunbeam Warranty in 2013.

My parents bought me this electric blanket for Christmas 2011. I used it every day during the cold months of every year. It wasn't until earlier this year that I realized it wasn't getting as hot as it used to be. I contacted Sunbeam and informed them that the blanket is no longer heating up as usual and they informed me that my warranty was still valid. They forced me to send it, paying for shipping, but they sent me a brand new blanket within a week. I still love this duvet and am so glad I…

Beautiful plush blanket: bedding

I like this blanket. It's plush and warm. I've found that plush blankets tend to be "warming" blankets with barely noticeable warmth. When I buy an electric blanket, I want to feel warm. I do with it. When it's on, it's nice and warm. When it's off, it's still nice and plush. The best from both worlds. One point I would like to note is the controls. They are light and difficult to keep in place. On the other hand, they have a cool ability to change the light intensity of the controls. I've…

Light and warm blankets for the bed

This blanket replaces a five year old Sunbeam electric blanket. The old ceiling didn't work very well. It warmed up slowly and didn't seem to warm up unless there was a body(?) underneath. With some trepidation (and mostly just a lack of choice) we returned to another Sunbeam blanket. Big difference. The preheating features work great, warming the duvet just enough to lift the edge of cold Wisconsin sheets. Preheating only takes a few minutes. Normal settings also work well. The remote control…

Cozy and warm bedding

This product has received good reviews online and is offered at a competitive price by Revain. I ordered a queen size bed for a full size bed because I needed to have two checks. Most of the time my control is off, but my wife needs the warmth of an electric blanket far more often than I do. This model heats up instantly and gives off a lot of heat. If you like a warm comforter so you don't have to guess if it works or not, then this is the one for you. The material is soft and pleasant to the…
