My old low voltage halogen bulbs were inefficient, heavy and hot! These new replacement parts are brighter, cooler and more efficient. Glad I bought 16 of these for the space I need, actually 8 after trying them. I installed them in a smaller 1940's basement and they are bright enough. I have checked the recommended Lutron dimmers and have Lutron Caseta dimmers, assuming the Maestro listed should be similar. You are not with these. These lights will flash when attempting to dim.
