Worked very well for my outdoor lighting application under overhead lighting. I had no problem fitting them into Commercial Electric H9 bulkhead boxes from the big orange store. I couldn't bring myself to install headlights that had to be hardwired AND hardwired if they came back like these little pancakes. So I installed the cans that go with these headlights and then the headlights and was happy with the result. I put 8 (yes 8) in a 9x9 room used as an office.
