That did the job and I'm sure I'll be back if needed. I rarely have to remove a steering wheel, but there is no other way out than with a steering wheel puller. So many nut combinations for different cars should suffice for any shade tree mechanic who needs to remove a steering wheel.

I'm giving this review four stars because it makes a great steering wheel puller but will serve as a reference if you buy this To try to remove the front crank from a Mazda Miata 90-05, it won't work without very long screws from the hardware store and dropping the anti-roll bar and possibly the radiator.

A Sunex steering wheel puller (or equivalent) is required to remove the steering wheel. Pulling out my outboard flywheel worked BUT I had to find three of my own screws that fit the flywheel. The product came with 3 sets of different types of screws, but there were only 2 screws in each set. Even if the supplied bolts were the right size for my job, every flywheel I've seen requires 3 bolts to ensure the flywheel pulls straight up. When I ordered this drill I was under the impression that it would be the same as my old drill. I have 40s from my old one that was made abroad. When I started searching, I typed in a 17-inch drill press. Somewhere this detail has been changed. This is a 13 inch drill press. I bought this to pull the flywheels on Tecumseh single cylinder lawn mower engines. They have 3 1 1/2" diameter holes around the center so 2 hole pullers will not work. Got it today, ran (well, walked fast at my age) to my shop to pull the flywheel. The screws were too big, so I used 3 1/4" x 2" NC hex head screws each with 1/4" and 3/8" HD washers.
