A quality product to stay in nature and keep my truck's battery

So far I am very satisfied with the product of very good quality and perfect size. This allows my Acura RDX battery to last a month without a ride.

Pros
  • A sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • The list will be long.

It provides enough power to keep the battery charged when.

It provides enough power to keep the battery charged when the car is parked for a long time; but not enough to recharge a dead battery. The OBD II port is very convenient as most "cigarette lighter" ports will discharge when the ignition is off.

Pros
  • Amazing

  • Some Cons

That's good news. Working

Let me start by saying that I installed this charger on April 27th a whole week ago. I haven't moved my car since, but my car has On BoardDiagnostics installed for State Farm. Leaving my car for a full week without starting and running triggers more than a few emails telling me the voltage is low. This hasn't happened and a trip to my State Farm site shows Green and OK on the battery. For me this is great news. It works out.

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • expensive

Good idea! - Tools and equipment

Great idea the product is ok but I haven't worked with it enough that it was handy to leave it on the battery it really charges I'm not sure about the Diode When there's no sun I need to find out if it drains my battery at night so for now it's a great idea and I intend to keep it and I wouldn't discourage anyone from getting it but I would go with this one App be conservative and make sure it works well before you leave it alone.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Vanish

False advertising warning! NO overcharge protection.

The PV modules appear to be fine, but I really don't like that they are advertised as having "overcharge/discharge protection built in". As for discharge I'm not sure (I'll measure when I get a chance) but it happily pumped over 15 volts to a fully charged battery. This is too much and over time will cause the electrolyte to boil off and/or corrode the grid. The only "protection against overcharging" seems to be its negligible performance.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Slightly torn

. It shows me the status of the device and whether it is charging or not. So far the solar panel is working perfectly. I leave it in front and still don't have a dead battery like I used to when my car sits idle for days. I get in the car, unplug the obd2 connector, put the panel on the back seat and drive off. When I come back I put the panel back on the dash, plug in the obd2 connector and check the charge on the charge controller.

Pros
  • Dope ๐Ÿ”ฅ
Cons
  • Modernity

Product Major Pandemic

This solved one of my most common issues during the pandemic. Since I drove my car less than once a week, even with a brand new battery, a parasitic electrical leak from my alarm system because my battery needed a jump almost every time I drove. Even though I have a very good lithium-ion battery, it got tiring. This solar charger solved the problem. This is a very simple device. Since my car doesn't have a cigarette lighter that is active when the car is off I use an OBD connector which worksโ€ฆ

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Functionality

No LED display to show that the device is producing electricity! Without an LED indicator or light, this is really bad, as you'll have a dead battery before you know the device isn't working. I've had other brands (1.2 volts) with an LED indicator and no light means they didn't work and failed. One more thing, I was tempted to use the suction cups that came with the device, after squeezing the device with the suction cups installed on the device, it fell out the window before I fully retractedโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Robust construction
Cons
  • No automation
