Description of SunGrow 8-Inch Catappa Indian Almond Leaves for Freshwater Shrimps and Tropical Fish - Enhance Aquarium Health and Vitality

Give A No-Stress Home to Your Betta - When fish are given their native ambiance, they tend to grow stronger and heartier. By balancing the pH level, our leaves provide ideal water conditions. The Indian Almond leaves are considered to have beneficial properties and increase fish appetite making them happy. Have A Breeding Pet? Add Catappa - The tropical fishes create bubble nests using a floating leaf or a plant to anchor their bubbles. So if your tank has any one of the breeding tropical fish like tetra, guppy, platies, molly, cichlids, just add these leaves and see them anchoring their eggs over IAL. That is a sight to behold. In ancient times, the Ketapang leaves were used in folk medicine for indigestion. Benefits Other Fish and Snails Too - The tea water has many advantages for fishes like tetra, discus, and goldfish. It is good for rasporas and many dwarf cichlids too. Apart from that, snail owners can benefit from the magical leaves. Giving your fish such an ambiance calms them down and helps in overall development. It helps in imparting color to them and makes their scales firmer. Shrimps, Fishes and Snails Love Them - Depending on your tank size and the pH level needed, drop a few leaves into your tank (If you want to be exact about the pH level, you can use a pH tester or a drop checker). Over the next few days, the leaves will slowly submerge to the bottom. As they start to do so, they will soften and your fishes, shrimp, and even snails will start to use the leaves as they see fit. Shrimps have been known to nibble on leaves, while fishes sometimes hide under them. Adds Beauty to Nano Tanks, Small Bowls and Jars - The Catappa leaves from SunGrow are unprocessed so you know what goes into your tank. They look pretty in a nano tank and add aesthetic beauty to your planted tank. You may even add these in individual betta jars or bowls.

Helped my dwarf shrimp breed

I read somewhere that having them in your tank will encourage your dwarf shrimp to mate. I put them in my aquarium and after about a month and a half I noticed that 4 of my shrimp had berries (pregnant).

Pros
  • I keep my fists
Cons
  • Not the best

These are BIG leaves.

I bought these for my bettas and they work great. These are huge leaves. Will accompany me for a long time. In the pet areas they have tiny leaves so I expected. I'm not complaining, it was a pleasant surprise

  • Feels good

  • Some cons

High quality leaves for fish and aquatic animals

High quality leaves. Within 24 hours, the color of the water with tea clay is achieved by leached tannins. It didn't lower the pH of my liquid limestone water, but that's not the fault of the leaves. The acid buffer didn't stir either. Next time I will try concentrated peat moss. crossed fingers

Pros
  • Finally bought
Cons
  • Empty

good quality, big leaves

these are really big and nice leaves, they were all wider than my palm. I like them as a natural food alternative for my bottom feeders. I drop food pellets on one of the leaves and this prevents food from being wasted in the gravel or sand substrate in my aquariums. One of my tanks is for red cherry shrimp and they love the leaves. The surface of the leaves is quickly colonized by a film of microbes, on which the shrimp graze during the day. They also like to hide under leaves when shy. Leaves

: My betta activity is back at 100%. He built his first big bubble nest in over three weeks. His appetite is terrible again. I feed him twice a day. The water has such a beautiful, very light brown color. Fighters don't live in crystal clear water. I want my Betta to be in the best environment, not in crystal clear water which some may find cosmetically appealing. Also, he gets irritated when I show him something he doesn't like. He even showed a blue ballpoint pen which I held in front of his…

  • The list is getting long. UPDATE
