Great for more than just electronics

My daughters are Irish dancers who have to wrap white tape around their ankles to compete. I had to pay more than $12 for a roll because we went out one day. Then I got smarter and bought 10 packs of Sunlite. Both kids say they tear easily, don't leave marks on shoes, and hold up great.

Pros
  • Protects against abrasion, water, chemical and solvent splashes
Cons
  • Expensive

Will not hold to tape measures

Purchased to cover Christmas green light wire terminations. It's raining in Houston in December and my GFCI plugs keep turning the lights off. This tape should cover all connections to make them waterproof. It won't stick to anything. I had to wrap myself several times to somehow glue it together. My regular black duct tape sticks to everything but this one doesn't. I will not buy again

Pros
  • Durable enough for many residential, commercial and industrial renovations
Cons
  • Available in white only

Compare with 3M 33: Measuring and Marking Tools

As a radio amateur and construction worker I use a lot of electrical tape. I used to buy "good tape" and "cheap tape". I bought 10 rolls of Sunlite to use as cheap tape for dipole antennas, wire harnesses, etc. e. This is a really good band and very cheap. The cheap stuff I bought from Home Depot doesn't stretch as much, it's stiff and doesn't stick as well. Suitable for temporary work etc. Sunlite is in no way inferior to 3M in my opinion, I was shocked. Bought 20 more rolls. VERY SATISFIED…

Pros
  • Black Pack of 10 Heavy Duty Weatherproof Vinyl Electrical Tapes
Cons
  • Some Errors
