Bright in every way!

The Sunlite MP400 MOG PS Protected lights up my work area just perfectly! Thanks to my knowledge gained in practice I chose this HID bulb over others because of its ability to withstand harsh weather conditions, making it ideal for outdoor use. I appreciate how it consumes lower energy and provides brighter light output... The only con I can think of is the slightly higher price compared to other HID bulbs, but in my opinion, it's worth the investment for its durability and quality..

Pros
  • High quality and durable lighting option for outdoor use
Cons
  • Requires a ballast for operation, adding an extra cost and potential maintenance issue

Watt Wonderful find!

On 12/13/14 I found a 400 watt Sunlite metal halide lamp in its original packaging, slightly tattered, at a street vendor near Plant City, FL. I bought it and when I got home I removed the existing metal halide bulb from the ceiling light in the garage workshop which I had been using for a little over a year. The ones I took out gave off yellow light, which was fine, but the 'new' bulb is pure white, which is great! Not a bad deal and I think the three dollars I spent was a good investment!

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
