Description of Super Heatbond Seaming Carpet Joining

✅ HIGH QUALITY – Very well made and traditional crepe paper backing that offers additional installation benefits reducing heat loss into the floor, giving a faster adhesive melt rate. Red stitch 11 running beads of adhesive. Manufactured to very high standards. ✅ REASONBLY EASY TO USE – The tape is easy to use with heat seam iron set at 3 but make sure hot enough. Place under the carpet join, iron on top of the tape until the iron glides along smoothly melting the glue. Join behind while the iron is melting the next part. A DIY way is to use a damp cloth on top of the carpet and iron from the top. Watch the video for this first. ✅ WHERE TO USE – Woven and secondary backed carpet. Place under the carpet/rug seam, glue side up. Ideal for residential and commercial use. ✅ VALUE – Very competitive price. The tape is really good value and is one of the best crepe paper backed tapes around. Full 20 mtr rolls. - 100 mm wide. ( 66 foot x 4" wide ). ✅ WHO USES – Carpet fitters and some DIY. Professional trade mainly as 20mtr length rolls. DIY should watch online video.

Be careful with the hot iron!

Pay attention to this article. There were no instructions for this tape and I ended up burning my carpet. I asked the seller for instructions but there is no answer.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Quality

Great for stiffening carpets

I've used this for carpet edges that don't have enough stiffness and are bunching up. I think you could take a cheap carpet and improve it significantly with this tape. A wet rag and an iron did the trick. The glue is very sticky.

Pros
  • good stuff
Cons

Great for duct tape

I used this to tape new carpet patches where cats tried to burrow out of the bedroom when the door was closed. It worked great and I just used a normal high power iron with no steam. The sticky slurry didn't ooze at all, it held very tight.

Pros
  • Enjoyable
Cons
  • Not the best

I used a regular iron to heat with great results!

Great job! Laying carpet for the first time and thanks to this adhesive tape, the laying went flawlessly. I turned both sides of the rug over (the fibrous/hairy side on the floor), made sure both edges were cut perfectly evenly, taped the two edges together, put duct tape on the seam and used a regular iron to heat. I heated it longer to allow the glue to seep through the cut edges and stick to the "root" of the fibers to keep the edges from fraying.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Modern

EASY TO USE! good for tape

I decided to make a video and show photos because the lack of instructions is frustrating. So I used it to join two Ikea rugs into one larger one! After unwinding the tape, 1: attach it to the back of the rug (make sure it's flat) 2: use a damp cloth (not wet, but damp) and place it on the brown part of the rug adhesive tape. THE YELLOW SIDE SHOULD FACE AND TOUCH THE CARPET 3: Use an iron, any will work if you lower the setting. I used the heat from 4 standard Walmart irons. And after placing…
