Good waterproof connectors.

They don't appear to be as strong or of good quality as Deutsch connectors, but they are a third of the price. They appear to be waterproof and are easy to assemble. This is a great alternative to the cheap non-waterproof connectors found at auto parts stores for about the same price.

Good product to complete a professional installation

Bought to use for a project on my truck. Since the wiring will be exposed to the elements and I wanted to disconnect where necessary, I wanted the connectors to be weatherproof, fairly easy to work with, and inexpensive. I'll tell you about the durability later.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • So far so good

Good price, durable housing and crimp terminals.

Good value for money, solid body and crimp terminals. The only problem (see image, 3-pin shown, 4-pin has same problem) is that there is NO proper notch on the connector cover to match the case. I cut one on the left to match the case, one on the right - like in the kit. This should not be altered as this cut compromises the integrity of the end cap.

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • I don't really like anything, everything is fine

Solid connectors are best for replacement parts

They're pretty good quality and I think they're waterproof - I've used them to replace all the connectors on an old bike - although to be honest I haven't avoid driving in the rain. There are no instructions on how to assemble them, but you will eventually get to them by studying them carefully. I used sets of 2, 3 and 4 pins and they were all pretty much the same. I'll use the rest for future projects like this one.

Pros
  • Great general specs
Cons
  • Good but not great

Quality connectors at a bargain price.

Well made connectors. The pins fit snugly into the sockets and should provide a strong, permanent connection. They are marked "AMP" and the connector shell material is durable and gasoline resistant. Unfortunately, the rubber seals aren't gas resistant at all and they flared out in about half an hour when I loaded them. The seals have a silicone rubber feel, so they may resist engine oil, making them suitable for underhood wiring. I would like to receive information from the supplier about the…

Very difficult to cut, better alternatives

I had a very hard time putting them together and putting the pieces together. I suggest simply purchasing one of the many pre-installed pin connectors, many of which are offered by the same company. (1) You need a special pin crimping tool. A regular crimping tool will not work as it is too wide to crimp the second crimp adjacent to the connector and connector heads (i.e. without hitting the surrounding, wider metal surfaces). I used a set of needle nose pliers but it's not quite a crimp. (2) I
