This thing works great for the price

Flashcal Jeep. This item works great for the price. My Jeep is a 2011 Wrangler Rubicon with a 4:10 transmission, electronic anti-roll bar release and front and rear chain lock. I added a 2.5" lift and a larger 33 x 12.5 x 15 Goodyear landing gear. I gave up TPMS and love that I can turn off the warning light, adjust turn signals, daytime running lights, tire size, gear ratio, horn, diagnostics, etc. The list goes on. The next upgrade is to 35 inches and this tool will come in handy. I will beโ€ฆ

and immediately sent it back for excellent technical support

It's expensive for what it is but there aren't many alternatives and they're just as expensive. The device is well assembled and feels solid. It's not used often so it's probably overkill, but I'm sure it will still work in a few years when I have to take it apart again to recalibrate. I had a small error in the instructions when adjusting my tire size options. The device will prompt you to turn the key to the "on" position several times during the calibration. Great! Full disclosure

A modest tire size change to 33 with 3.73 gears on my 2014 JKU left me unsatisfied with Jeep performance. The snap was gone and it was noticeably sluggish when pulling my popup. Can't afford shifting (at the moment), but lots of forums and other literature suggest that adjusting the programmed tire size can make a difference. Let me tell you it was absolutely true. Plug it into the OBDC port, choose a few simple options, and in minutes I'm back to (almost) original performance. Great! Fullโ€ฆ

  • Slightly dented

I wish I had done this sooner. Remember driving your Jeep before you lifted it up and put those giant tires on it? My 2014 JKU Rubicon always felt sluggish after my lift and tires (2.5" lift and 35" tires). It still has plenty of torque and guts, so it wasn't bad, but it just wasn't as bouncy. In addition, the speedometer and odometer were switched off. These details didn't really bother me, but after a little research I found that larger tires also affect the shift points of your automaticโ€ฆ

Great product, highly recommend

Just received and updated. There will be more! TO UPDATE! I bought Flashcal first, took it straight home and registered/updated, do that before using it. I took it to my Jeep and made a few tire size and pressure (TPMS) adjustments. Immediately noticed a fix at work. There are many options to fix when making modifications to your Jeep, and there are also a few frivolous things you can change. Happy with everything, I went back, ran the upgrade program again, and purchased the warranty andโ€ฆ

Usage tips and works fine except for 1 thing.

Does mostly what it's supposed to do on my 13 year old JKUR. The only issue I had was that when I set the TPMS low pressure warning to its lowest setting (22psi if I remember correctly) the dash warning light still comes on when my tires are running at 26psi outdoors. Not a big deal as the tool lets you disable TPMS entirely if you wish, but it doesn't work as advertised in that regard. This will take effect if you run aftermarket off-road tires (which you probably do). The recommended pressure

Worked great for me!

Newly added Nitto Ridge Grappler 295/70 17R and 3.5" lift. Rectified and after that everything was pretty good, but I noticed a sluggishness when the automatic shifted gears. Just slow shifting or seemed to lag shifting, especially when going up a sloping hill, even a small hill. Started researching and found Flashcal reviews and said "what the heck and worth a try". Very happy with this purchase. I was able to change my tires with a 33" device and a noticeable difference in automatic shiftingโ€ฆ

It works out. fits ignition parts

If you are reading this you are either having doubts about your purchase or are looking for confirmation that this is correct. There are. I have 2012 4dr Unlimited Rubicon. I have 35" tires and lots of suspension upgrades. The 3.6's performance was okay, but I felt the shift points were far away, as was the speedo. I installed a cool Mopar Performance air intake that helped with throttle response, but my JK always seemed to be looking for the right gear. I have serviced a WA 580 automaticโ€ฆ
