Really nice and warm I'm a very cold person and it works. I haven't washed it so that's my best hope it will pass the test. Get it king size even if yours is bigger than queen size better trust me.

Feels much lighter than average weight as advertised and as for the king bed I would say it pairs very well with a queen bed. Instead I put it on the queen bed in the guest room and it looks like a nice big queen size blanket that covers the bed nicely without hanging off the floor. Overall, this is a quality duvet that is excellent value for a queen, but not a king.

I wanted a better comforter and it has a great quality and feel. I take it for a milder version of winter - it just freezes on grass - and where winter sets in it can get a little too warm, but that's not the product's fault. Lightweight and warm in cold Washington state weather with duvet and sheets over and true to size.
