Playable regions and video formats

I didn't buy this player from Revain, I bought it from Ebay. If you want to use USB or SD inputs, the video format that works best is SVCD, AVI formats mostly don't work with other codecs. The normal VCD format also worked, but you couldn't skip chapters. The device is very light and the power bank or wallwart is a modern "switchable" type, similar to a cell phone charger. Not suitable for in-car use for DVD players

I bought this to play DVDs in my car. I'm telling you, this isn't for a car, although it does include a car power adapter. Playback starts automatically when you turn on the engine. The graphics look good. Here is a critical review. Last position memory is missing. Every time you turn on the engine, you have to watch the beginning of the movie over and over again. Plays many file types but will not play DVD

I can confirm this will not play region 1 encoded US DVDs. Supersonic has not responded to my email regarding this. It usually plays recorded DVD+R, SVCD and some AVI files. I haven't had any luck playing any of the popular MP4 formats. It works with USB portable hard drives and SD cards, but it is difficult to find files on the hard drive with many folders and files.
