My bike looks fast, but it climbs very well.

Great kit with quick release Extra spoke linings and hub sound like you mean business. So far I've ridden it over 150km with no problems. I will update them after driving 500 miles. I love their blank design, no branding, no fuss. Lol makes my bike look fast like i said in the title. But I've noticed that my average pace has increased, either I'm stronger or they just roll really fast compared to my aluminum clinchers. So far so good, no complaints

Solid comfortable feeling wheels

packaging is insured with undamaged wheels. I bought these to use as everyday training hoops. So far they haven't disappointed me. Out of the box performance that matches my Rovals. Just the right amount of stiffness with little touch in the wind. The wheels are fitted with Continental Grand Prix tires. Acceleration and incline combined with my bike's capabilities are very good. Price wasn't the main reason for buying these wheels, but it helped. At the time of writing this article, I have…

The best cheap carbon wheelset!

Okay, I'm an avid cyclist (at least 100 miles a week) and just finished my first ride on this wheelset (38mm). When pedaling, the wheels are smooth and roll well. They respond to acceleration comparable to more expensive aluminum wheels. Of course they are more aerodynamic than your standard aluminum wheels, so you save energy. The reason I gave these wheels 4/5 is that there is a lot of lag when spinning freely. The freewheel mechanism is noisy and most likely the bearings aren't the same as…

Excellent bargain wheel set

After reading many reviews I decided to go with 50mm front and rear wheels. I live in a pretty windy area. So 50 mm was a good balance between aerodynamics and strong side wind protection. If I had to do it all over again I'd probably end up with a 50mm front wheel and 88mm rear, but I'm not disappointed. I will say that I noticed a slight improvement in speed over 25 miles. Anywhere between 0.25 and 0.5 mph. When you drive them they make a unique sound that I personally like. It's not louder…

Great Rolling Wheels

I've driven it about 200 miles in the last week. So far they have been flawless. They were well packed with skewers, brake pads, stem extender and spare spokes. They were as faithful as can be right out of the box. The pads are white and appear to work fairly well, but leave a lighter color where they rub against the basalt pads. I haven't tried them in big canyons yet. They make that signature carbon wheel sound as you cruise down the street. If it's not obvious at first glance, the sound will

Great wheels! The best update!

I didn't think these aero wheels would improve my handling. I own two bikes, a Fuji 2013 SST 1.3 Di2 with Bontrager air-light alloy wheels and a Kestrel RT700 Ultegra10 with Mavic Equipe Elite wheelset. The Kestrel weighs 17.8 pounds, but the Fuji is my fast bike at 15.8 pounds. I bought this wheelset about a month ago from a friend who didn't like the loose sound, never installed. He simply sinned at the wheel and the sound was too much for him. Installed it on a kestrel and did a group tour…

100 miles - Very impressed so far (50mm)

Update - I've ridden them about 1500 miles so far they have been fast, durable and a great wheelset. There are signs of the front end being a little off so I'll tune them up soon, but in my experience no wheel stays completely right after 1500 miles of abuse, potholes, etc. Would definitely buy it again. Have driven them 100 miles and so far they are very impressive for the price. I will post a long term review of updates as I earn miles. They arrived well packaged and were really out of the…

GREAT WHEELS FOR THE PRICE BUT MISSING SOME COMFORTABLE CREATURES

A big fan of these wheels as are the 5 other people I've recommended them to. I have countless miles on them, my co-worker has put 20,000+ miles on ONE of his SuperTeam sets and only sold them because his frame cracked before the wheels broke lol. Great quality, ready to use right out of the box and I've hardly had to pinch my spokes after many, many miles. Good wheels for beginners, weekend warriors, training bikes and even pros. I'm a bike mechanic, so the review gets a bit more technical…

Pros
  • Sleek design

  • There are flaws
