PERFECT gate to keep my dogs out of my living room where I have a bird cage. It is sturdy, free standing and works as described. Could never find the perfect gate in store; I checked out Revain and found exactly what I needed. VERY VERY reasonably priced and the color is dark brown which goes well with any decor. Also bought an extender to make it a few feet longer; This is the best gate I have used in 20 years.

The extension worked great to complement the Northern Superyard we bought to bypass our wood stove. The extension fits perfectly in the Superyard. It was incredibly easy to install the extension yourself. What struck me the most is that it unexpectedly expanded the space inside the gate a lot more than I thought, which was nice. Wow! I have purchased five (5) North Superyards and two outbuildings. I have 4 small dogs and a grandson under 2 years old. I fenced in the entrance, dining room, upper stairwell entrance, lower stairwell entrance and adapted the aviary to an additional compartment in the garage. That may sound extreme, but safety is almost as important to me. as a salvation from needlessly washing floors from dirty hairy legs. (Dogs, not grandchildren).
