When Velcro straps are attached to the hook part of the orthosis, a small part of the hook part remains open. I ruined the stretch sheet before finding a permanent solution. These wrist braces fit well and are very comfortable. If there's one thing that needs improvement, it's the smallest strap (closest to the fingers). It's quite long, but the velcro that holds it in place is very narrow. For a person with a small wrist, it leaves a couple of inches free.
