My best hook!

I love this hook! This is the only yarn in this style/brand that I own and to be honest I want to replace my old Boye hooks (sorry boye) and my yarn doesn't break AT ALL. My movements are faster and smoother. My arm doesn't get tired or cramped and I rarely have to take long breaks, I can knit for hours. I am self taught and a beginner/intermediate crocheter and this crochet hook is great. I wish I could always use this crochet, I would definitely recommend it for beginners!

Pros
  • This is great
Cons
  • Some bugs

Great hook!

I am self-taught and started using Boyle crochet hooks because the thread head kept getting stuck on my work. I have arthritis in my hands and while I love to crochet, sometimes it's too difficult. Most hooks are just too short. They hit the edge of my palm or dig into my palm and it changes my grip. I came across the soft grip Silvalume hook and decided to give it a try. This is now my favorite hook! The extra length keeps my grip correct which increases my crochet time! When I bought thisโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Very expensive

I love this hook!

I worked with yarn that I thought was split. But recently I saw Stephanie's It's Crochet O'clock video and she said there is no such thing as "split" yarn. She said if you're having trouble with a particular yarn, change your tool. I looked at my hook and realized I'm using an offset hook in this project. I went through the rest of my hooks looking for one of the same size but built in. Don't you know, at like 30 or more hooks, I wasn't the right inline size. So I bought this hook to see ifโ€ฆ
