I use this cap for swimming in a chlorinated pool. My previous hat was fabric and chlorine destroyed it after 4 months of daily use so I wanted something that would last. So far two weeks the cap still looks exactly the same. My hair is just growing back after almost shaving it, so I don't need a hair room right now, but I think it could easily do with at least shoulder length.
