Good shredder, terrible card/CD slot

Works very well as a paper shredder and was delivered very quickly. A major downside for us is that while the paper section is micro-particle cut, the credit card/CD slot is only cut into very long strips so it would be very easy to get a number out of shredded cards. In some cases, depending on the location of the card, the numbers are not cut at all. The card slot is completely useless.

Great car. well suited for office electronics

Excellent machine. Micro cutting is the best way for privacy and this machine does it very well. I've noticed that the advertised capacity of "12 sheets" isn't quite right and maybe 6-8 is the best throughput. My machine hangs (not so "no jam") with more than 8 sheets The machine has a very large compartment, easy bag changes and easy access. The automatic oil fill is a great headache relief and a nice addition to this machine. The device is very heavy and requires 2 people to install it…

GBC Shredmaster GLM1130

I took the GLM1130 to replace an old paper shredder I bought from a warehouse a few years ago. This item was purchased for home use and I got such a good deal that it was in my price range. That is amazing. It's pretty quiet for its size. Once I got it up the stairs and figured out where we were going to use it, we gave it a try. I filled the oil reservoir to about 60cc. see the supplied oil, place the paper and plastic bags in the hopper area and switch to automatic mode. Wow! You don't need…
