It looks like it will work fine including the seat belt cutter and power window but it doesn't light up at all! I held it under a lamp to charge for a few minutes and it still didn't light up, so there's not much help in the car at night.

So we found that the glow-in-the-dark version needs to be exposed to light first, much like the phosphor in the watch. I don't know how long it lasts after exposure. This defeats its purpose as I will personally hide it in the center console. In general, it looks pretty strong. A cheap item that could save someone's life.

This is a good buy if you must use it. The seller contacted the instructions who were very appreciative because I didn't realize I had misused the product. Now I feel a lot more relaxed knowing I'm a lot more protected when I travel. You really have to expose the glow-in-the-dark version to sunlight first to make it glow. Hopefully it will continue to glow after the first exposure and I won't have to keep exposing it to the light.
