They work but come apart fairly easily. Doesn't work the other way around, so once they're glazed they're basically done.

Depending on your needs, they may be too thick for your project. They are probably best used for polishing metal. You can really PUSH them as they are so tight.

Attaching to a drill and buffing the old metal works great. This includes the old brass handles on our doors, metal jugs, etc. This is the most effective method I've found without the use of chemicals or ketchup.

This is the most efficient way to clear workspace congestion. I clean the cork while the other guys soak the corks. When the corkscrews have the corks good and ready, they hammer them into each other's freshly polished corks. My colleagues are a bunch of traffic jam lovers.

I unscrewed a flannel cone shank, put JB Weld in it, let it set for a day and these things are indestructible. I also have one set to 5/8. So it can run 5/8 on 11 threads so I can go to my buffer. I do a lot of things with them that they lick and keep ticking that they are good

So far so good. I used one to polish chrome wheels, it held up well and did the job well. Tried washing/cleaning it afterwards, we'll see if it tries to fall apart next time, but honestly even if it did I'd be pretty happy. I've bought similar items from others and they didn't last long at all or fell apart on first use.

Not bad, but I really expected them to last a lot longer. I use them on an electric grinder to polish discs. I went through three out of five to make a wheel. They work fine while they're working, but the flannel comes loose from the screw holding them in place and after that they just fall apart. Next time I'll probably go shopping.
