Does exactly what I bought it for!

Have two overhead lights that I cannot reach the sconce switch and yet I did not want to bother with plugging in two cords each time I wanted to turn the lights on. This outlet wall extender allows me to leave the cords plugged in at all times and yet turn both lights on with one switch at the outlet. The only improvement would be if the switch light were on when the lights were off rather than being just the opposite.

Pros
  • Works as advertised. Great for small objects that are hard to reach on their own. Will buy again.

I DO NOT recommend! Almost broke my Christmas Tree!

Nice in theory. I would have loved to use it, but it nearly broke my Christmas tree!Here's what happened:I plugged my Christmas tree into it and the cord went in fine with no resistance. Then I tried another cord in one of the other outlets. This other cord would not go in AT ALL! I then proceeded to unplug my tree from the outlet. It WOULD NOT come out! I tried wiggling and pulling this way and that. I asked my husband to help. At one point he thought he was going to have to smash (destroy)…

Very practical for my opinion

This is exactly what I was looking for. Instead of plugging and unplugging a stereo system or microwave every time I use it, I just flip the switch. Perfect for when you don't want to be drawing energy constantly.

Well made and stays in outlet good. I use it once a day to turn on beer signs in in my basement bar. Going to purchase another one soon.

Waste of money in my review

This product took a very long time to reach to my house And then when I finally got a product it kept slipping out of the socket and it wasn’t strong enough.

Would not buy again.

I was disappointed that the outlets didn’t work separately. I was looking for something that would turn off one outlet while leaving the other one on.

  • Unreliable: There have been complaints of the adapter overheating after a short period of use, which can represent a significant risk for electrical appliances

4 Outlets (2 with ground, 2 without ground) and Lighted Switch

Compact design. Works fine.Some of the photos show the plug that goes into the wall being off-center toward the right (i.e. the plug closer to the switch).The one I got is the opposite with the plug off-center toward the left (i.e. the plug is further from the switch).When the plugged into the lower outlet (of a dual outlet) the upper outlet is clear and unobstructed.

  • I like that it's fact that it's low profile and I can plug on the side or the top.
Cons
  • Bulky design
