System Three 0102K46 General Hardener Review

I like System 3 epoxy. The 2:1 ratio is easy to use for small quantities. I buy a tin of medicine measuring cups in the pharmacy and use them to measure the two components, pour the result into a clean cat food jar, mix it up, done. I am not satisfied with this product although I have used it extensively on a kayaking project I am working on. My experience so far with this epoxy has been that the cure time matched what was stated on the bottle. This bottle supplied by Revain.com is a completely different color than the exact same product that was sent to me via pygmyboats.com. I would give it five stars but as a few other reviewers here have noted , The release time was not as fast as announced. My applications were still sticky after 16 hours at 75 degrees. I tried mixing at a 2 to 1 ratio and mixing thoroughly. I use it to fill holes in pine knots in floorboards because I don't want to cut those knots out of long boards.
