Good product in the Internal Components category

Bought 3 months ago. Yes, it's a bit noisy when you first turn it on, but once all the AIR is out of the pump, it quiets down. After I deflated the system, it worked like a charm. I use it as a test device. It is used in a home built thermoelectric freezer where temperatures regularly drop below 32Β°F. And I have another similar pump from another supplier and they both work with no problems. Remember that you must not let these run empty

Unwanted Computer Components

There was plastic stuck inside because of the drilled holes and the suction flow is severely restricted, buy all the little holes they drilled in it. I bet this thing isn't producing the output it claims.

The first one died a week later and the replacement sounds like a can opener

I don't know where this pump is made but avoid it at all costs. The first died after less than 24 hours of operation. I have a Swiftech 655 at the top speed, it's quieter than this 5v pump for which the pump I got was connected to a Molex connector.
