🍂 XL Tantora Premium Grade Catappa Indian Almond Leaves - Size 18-30cm Review

This is the perfect size for my aquarium and has enough leaves in it but some are broken. This will make your tank look dark, but you can cook them first before adding them to your tank. The tannins will darken the aquarium water, but don't worry, it has an added benefit.

Exactly as advertised. The leaves were all a good size, each about 30 cm. They work great in my tetra and dwarf cichlid tanks, helping to lower and stabilize the pH of my extremely hard water. My fish are noticeably calmer/healthier and their colors are brighter. It may not be entirely due to the catappa leaves, but they certainly don't harm the fish at all.

I bought these Catappa Leaves because my new Betta is not eating, is not spitting up food and seems to be having a hard time acclimating to my aquarium. The leaf (I only needed one due to the sheer size) gave the water a slight tea color but managed to keep it happy. I've attached photos of the foam nest he made just above the leaf.
