If you haven't used gaffers tape before, it's what you want duct tape to be. Hold well, convenient but none of the mess when cleaning up.I use it to tape down cord and wires to carpeting in our basement so no one trips on them. If you ever need to take it up, there it no sticky residue left on the carpet.We also use it for creating a haunted house in our basement, handing items and taping visqueen walls together. The matte finish hides well and it holds very well.

Prior to being introduced to this tape, I had no idea it existed. I love it, recommend it, and have discovered many uses for it. I've used it during a move while packing boxes, taping down area rugs, securing things I don't want tape residue on, it's odorless and weather doesn't affect it. It is not great. I can't say I "don't like it" because I am using it, but it is NOT the quality of the other brands I purchased to try. It is pretty stiff and plastic feeling. I won't purchase this brand again. If you want the "good stuff" purchase the Gaffer Power brand.I did and was way more impressed with the quality, performance, and feel.

I'm a repair nerd and have different kinds of glues and adhesives for repairing almost anything but I've recently started using different tapes. I've always used duct tape, plain masking tape or painters tape but gaffers tape is fantastic. I love the matte black finish and it is wide enough for me to hold things down until I decide where to permanently mount something.

I've used this for 1 gig and its thin-ness was no issue (it's plenty strong). It also did not leave any residue. I haven't yet put it up for days or weeks to see if the residue gets stubborn. It's nice that its circumference is so much less than other gaff tapes, and it fits much better in my tool box.

This tape is excellent. We used it for a set design. Sticks really well but can be removed without leaving residue. The matte finish worked perfectly for our project.

If you are working with cords, cables or anything that needs to be held down THIS IS THE TAPE YOU NEED. It holds items in place and when it's time to remove it, there is no residue left behind. I use it for my DJ business, keeps my cords in place and looks professional. The tape holds my stands from blowing down in the wind and stays put in the rain. Don't go to your next gig without a roll.

This is great gaffers' tape! I can tape down my background, and the tape stays put. At the end of the day, after people have walked all over the tape, I'm able to pull it up without leaving residue behind.Just bought this tape again . money well spent !

I purchased this to use with my photography equipment. It does not leave a residue on the equipment and it is a good strong tape. Exactly what I needed and I highly recommend the tape.
