I was looking for a laptop lock that I could put in my laptop bag and take with me everywhere to protect my MacBook Pro (e.g. a coffee shop). It's longer than necessary - I'm certainly not worried about theft once it's in place - but it's longer, heavier and more uncomfortable than required for my purposes. I would recommend this laptop lock for stationary use (e.g. protecting a laptop in front of a desk) but not for someone looking for security on the go.

I was looking for an inexpensive laptop lock. The combination on this one was fairly easy to install with a small screwdriver, but the lock had an annoying habit of getting stuck in my laptop. Awesome I spent $35 on a $4 cable lock. This lock has three attachments that should work with Kensington, Kensington Nano, and Noble lock slots. The only attachment that actually works is the standard Kensington slot attachment (tested on multiple laptops), which has been around for 25 years.
