Top-Quality Filament for High-Performance Prints

This filament outperforms others in terms of strength and durability, making it ideal for industrial and scientific applications. It prints smoothly, leaving behind a clean and polished surface finish. However, its high price may discourage some users from making the investment.

Pros
  • Durable and strong material that is great for printing functional and mechanical parts.
Cons
  • Requires higher printing temperatures compared to other filaments, potentially limiting compatibility with some printers and causing warping issues.

5% lighter product

This appears to be my third identical reel of Taulman 910 (1kg). Of course I like using this thread. That's not what it is about. This time I measured and weighed the roll before I started because I had an important project to finish that used up pretty much exactly 1kg. Pay attention to the weight of an empty spool compared to the weight of a full spool. The coils are the same, but one of them is missing 48g of product. The item is only $3, but imagine doing that with every roll. Both shameful

Pros
  • Made in America. Each roll is manufactured in the United States to ensure consistency and quality throughout the supply chain.
Cons
  • Very expensive

Extremely durable material

I print with XYZprinting da Vinci 1.0 Pro. At first I couldn't get the stuff to work. The prints looked really bad and I had a lot of stringy fabric. After working with it, I realized that I need to reduce the usual layers (the thickness of the shell vertically). The nozzle is at a 250° angle and the bed is at a 90° angle. The layer height is 0.3. The thickness of the shell is usually 2 layers. The thickness of the shell at the top and bottom is three layers. Retraction 10 mm, retraction speed…

Pros
  • Nylon thread. Higher strength, higher performance than PLA, ABS or PETG filaments. Alloy 910 is trusted by professional designers and engineers around the world.
Cons
  • New competitors are here
