🧽 Premium TCP Global 6" 100% Wool Hook & Loop Buffing Pad - Pack of 2 for Compound Cutting & Polishing Review

Product looks good and is great at first and low speed. But when you crank it up or do a big chunk the hood separates from the velcro backing that should be visible on it and to your left with your eccentric polisher with velcro attached but no wool lining. I bought 2 of these kits and all were needed to build 1 26ft center console boat.

The first pad arrived and blew 'chunks of wool' all over my customer's car. TCP sent a new pad. This time the overlay arrived in a different yellow color. The new pad started inflating the pieces of wool onto another car. Each time I had to scrape fibers off my client's machine. It looks well made, but I can't get the fibers to blow away the car I'm trying to detail. Great customer service but bad product.

I ordered this pad to remove oxidation from my boat. The pad is perfect for the task and is aggressive enough that it only requires two passes per section, which is good as the pad fell apart after the first use. I give TCP credit for sending me a replacement right away. Unfortunately, the second pad also failed. I am actually returning the discs because they are too small. However, I've been in the business for 11 years now and reading some of the comments I realize some people don't know what to expect. Like the guy who complained about wool flying all over his customers' car, sent it back and it happened again. what the hell. This is called a virgin pad, any new pad without wool is garbage. Real detailers know how to prepare pads for first use (I don't like that they advertise 6" pads with buffer…
