Very good update!

Distributor body, guide shaft and drive shaft are of high quality. The cap and reel cover were a bit more fragile than I thought. Overall, the device connected easily, synced to specs, and worked flawlessly beforehand. The engine starts quickly and runs well.

Pros
  • Easy-to-read control panel
Cons
  • There are more interesting options.

Excellent value for money, suitable for spare parts

Quality is better than expected for the price. Easy to install, no hassle. I threw a new 12 volt wire to the relay and it worked. A major improvement over vacuum feed dizziness. I have no idea how long this will take, but I got about five hours of work with no issues.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Really don't like it, everything is fine

Worked fine until oil got into the distributor.

Purchased in August Purchased a few weeks ago, just started the engine and now it's going out. Be careful of the oil at the bottom of the distributor, so I removed the cap from the distributor and found a small puddle of oil inside. leads me to believe it affected the electronic ignition and killed the engine. Will buy another brand.

Pros
  • Easy install
Cons
  • Some imperfections

Don't expect after sale help

The product itself is amazing, works great and woke up my tired engine. My problem is customer service. Emails sent through Revain AND directly through the company's website were completely ignored. Phone calls ring and ring unanswered. I need advice on adjusting the vacuum, which is usually done with a 3/32 hex wrench, but that doesn't work on this model. It's a two second reply as if the company doesn't exist. I'll find out eventually, I'm sure, but from now on I'll go elsewhere to get my…

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Damaged

Good choice! Completely changes the car.

Arguably the best upgrade for the anemic 3.3 I6 Ford. I installed this in a 1982 Fairmont and the difference was night and day. No more flat spots when accelerating. Really optimistic now. I used a relay to power the magnet directly from the battery, using the original positive on the coil to turn on the relay. All it took was a slight adjustment in time, I used my wires as they weren't that old. Totally self contained so the Duraspark box, original coil and associated wiring have been replaced

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

Easy install on my 66 Ranchero 200/Inline 6

Beginner Monkey here. Got this for my '66 Ranchero (200). Installation was very easy. The only tricky part was attaching the relay to the firewall and making sure all the wires went where they were supposed to. But there are some videos on YouTube and I just copied what the other guy did. Reading other reviews I was concerned that some of my spark plug wires wouldn't reach far enough and bought a V8 wire set just in case, but those concerns were probably unfounded. Now my wires are very long…

Pros
  • Trial for one year
Cons
  • Available in white only
